Business Lunch in Paddington

What's On

Business Lunch in Paddington

Two courses £26, three courses £29. Monday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm.

A lunch worth leaving the office for, five minutes from Paddington Basin and next door to the Paddington Central offices, and quick enough that you can still get back.

The Lunch Menu

Starters include salmon tartare, parmigiana, French onion soup, and beef carpaccio. Mains run to baby chicken marinated with lemon and thyme, steak and chips with your choice of peppercorn or garlic butter, sea bass fillet, and ricotta and spinach ravioli. Desserts cover the matcha cheesecake, churros with hazelnut chocolate sauce, and soft serve.

Why It Works for a Weekday

The set menu is drawn from the a la carte, so it is the same kitchen and the same cooking, not a reduced version of it. Service moves at your pace, whether that means back at your desk within the hour or a lunch that quietly stretches into the afternoon. For something more intimate, our private dining room can be hired for lunches, dinners and celebrations.

The Setting

Smith's sits on the Grand Union Canal in Paddington Basin, a two-minute walk from Paddington Station. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a marble bar, and a room that doesn't feel like a rush - which makes it one of the more considered options for a business lunch in London when the setting matters as much as the food.
