Every Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm to 10pm, a singer with a guitar plays live at Smith's Bar & Grill, the canal-side restaurant and bar at Paddington Central. Entry is free: there is no cover charge, no minimum spend and no ticket. The music is a mix of acoustic pop and jazz, with a different performer each week.

Where to Sit for the Music
The musician plays in the restaurant, so a dinner table puts you closest. The sound carries through the room to the bar, so you can hear it wherever you sit. Book a table for dinner, or walk in and take a seat at the bar. Friday and Saturday evenings get busy, so come early or book if you want to be sure of a seat.
Dinner with Live Music in Paddington
The kitchen serves dry-aged Scottish steaks cooked over fire and whole fish, and the restaurant is open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. For a longer evening, the seven-course tasting menu is served on Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 10pm, with an optional wine pairing from Head Sommelier Maurizio Titone. See the menus.
£1 Oysters and Cocktails at the Bar
On the same evenings, Maldon rock oysters are £1 each at the bar from 6pm, and 2 for 1 cocktails run from 3pm until midnight. Bar food includes beef croquettes, calamari, and truffle and parmesan chips.
Live Music Through Christmas and New Year
Live music carries on every Friday and Saturday in December. If you are planning a work party, see Christmas parties at Smith's. On New Year's Eve, The Blue Loop Duo plays until midnight before the DJ takes over until 3am: New Year's Eve at Smith's.
