The bar at Smith's runs the length of the room and looks out over the Grand Union Canal. It opens at 8am and keeps going until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes it one of the more useful bars in Paddington whatever time you get there.
Classics made properly, plus a short list of our own. The espresso martini has been on the menu since we opened and shows no sign of leaving. Ask the team what they are pouring this month.

A list built for drinking rather than collecting, with a good number by the glass and a bias towards growers who farm well. It is put together by Head Sommelier Maurizio Titone, so if you want a wine bar in Paddington where someone will actually talk you through the list, this is one.

In warmer months the terrace above the canal opens up. It is one of the very few genuinely canal-side places to drink in central London, and it fills fast on a warm evening.
