Smith's Tasting Menu — Friday & Saturday Evenings
Some meals are worth taking your time over. The Smith's tasting menu is one of them. It's a seven-course menu designed by Head Chef David Reyes that moves at its own pace — no rushing, no shortcuts. The kitchen cooks; the room does the rest.
The menu at a glance:
Hand-dived Dover scallop on the shell, Jerusalem artichoke
Bluefin Tuna Tartare with virgin olive oil and parsley
Artichoke, parmesan, avocado
Scottish beef tartare, truffle oil, capers, quail egg yolk
Seabass fillet, roasted fennel, green beans and anchovy vinaigrette
Chargrilled rib-eye, green beans, truffle fondue sauce
Pavlova roll, berries and pistachio cream
Each course can be matched with a wine chosen by Head Sommelier Maurizio Titone. His pairing menu — £35 per person added to the tasting menu — draws on decades of experience. It’s optional, but worth it.
From 7pm, a resident DJ performs throughout the evening. The music runs in the background — present enough to feel, quiet enough to talk through.
This is one of the more complete dinner experiences available in central London at this price point. If you're looking for a tasting menu in London that earns its place on the table, this is where to start.
